Family Matters

I just wanted to take a moment to say that my family rocks. Not everyone is lucky enough to have a supportive family that help out when there are problems. I know people whose parents kicked them out for whatever reason, whose parents don’t help when they have problems etc. etc. I have to say that I consider myself lucky to have the family that I do. They always come through for me – and I hope that I do the same for them when it matters.

Lately I’ve been having a difficult time – not just emotionally due to my illness but also due to financial problems. The problems aren’t gone – but without my family I’d be in a lot more trouble than I currently am. My younger sister and her boyfriend are even so incredibly nice that they are paying for a train ticket so that I can come and visit them for a weekend and attend their Halloween/Moving In Party. Cheers to them!

When I got home from visiting my friends in The Netherlands my mom and my aunt had cleaned my apartment. It’s one of those things that I seldom have the energy to do these days – and it was just such a wonderful surprise.

So in conclusion; I just want to make sure that my family knows that I appreciate them – since I know I’m not an overly emotional person and probably don’t let them know if often enough. So… love you guys…
